Dear Mr. Whitney:

I noticed by the newspapers the other day that you have just returned from England, and I am taking this opportunity to ask you for an interview in reference to your Renoir, "Moulin de la Galette", about which we have corresponded previously.

Mr. Germain Séligmann, the head of our firm, is very much interested in the picture, and should appreciate a few minutes of your time to discuss the matter.

Would it be convenient for you if we came to your office sometime during the next week, suiting your convenience; or perhaps if you are in this neighborhood you might like to drop in here for a few minutes.

I do hope that we may have the opportunity of seeing you and discussing this matter. further.

Awaiting the pleasure of hearing from you,

Please believe me to be

Yours very sincerely,

(Robert M. Levy)
