Dear Friend:

As I promised you, I wrote to my cousin in Florence the same day we had our conversation about sculpture at your Gallery.

Finally an answer has reached me, in which my cousin promises to send photographs of his sculptures as soon as he gets new prints.  I had asked him to mail the photographs directly to you, in view of my tormented summer.

If, however, in a reasonable span of time you have not received the photographs, please let me know, and I shall write to him again.
