Dear Franklin:

Many thanks for your ^[[\]] letter of October 13th.

I do appreciate indeed the promptness with which you answered me.

Your good advice will be followed, and it is with much pleasure that I shall get in touch with Miss Mary DAVIS, whose efficiency and courtesy I have always appreciated.

I have several ideas as to the apparatus for the selection of these books, which I will discuss with her.

From your letter I gather that you will be coming East in the not too distant future, and I do hope that Ethlyne and I will be able to enjoy your company, as well of course as Judith's, should she accompany you.

With warm personal regards,

Sincerely,

GERMAIN SELIGMAN
