Dear Professor Suida:

When I left for Europe about ten days ago, you told me of your desire of receiving a photograph of the Titian drawing now in the Musée Fourché. While I was in Paris, I received from Miss Jacqueline Pruvost not only the photograph of the drawing but also the photograph of the etching. I am happy to be able to forward them to you in the hope they may of use.

Miss Pruvost, when she spoke over the telephone, asked me who was the art historian to whom they were destined, and I gave your name. She would be, I feel, quite appreciative of a little note from you. This, you will realize, is strictly a personal thought of mine.

Looking forward to seeing you soon again, and with personal regards,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
