A long and tedious job is about finished. Oh! How glad I am to say I'm through. Here is your WILDCAT. For better or for worse; let us hope for better. As I reminisce, the spring of 1930 is before me. The Junior class meets and elects P. V. Hayes Editor and myself Business Manager. It is fall, my classification has changed. The Southwestern Engraving Co. sends a representative and we sign the engraving contract. The actual work should begin. The Endowment Campaign is in full bloom; Dr. Dogan advises not to start campaign for advertisements before January 1, 1931. All right and many meetings are called by the Business Manager that should have been called by the Editor. Reports are asked for and none are made. First quarter terminates. Junior class decides to replace me with a junior. I am asked to resign. Many conferences are held. Finally it is decided that I should be retained as Manager. Another month passes nothing done toward building the Book yet Conference again Editor asked to resign. My job is now Managing-Editor. Four months have passed and the first sheet in the 1931 WILDCAT is not planned. Five months to build a successful Annual. Oh, what a job! If you have edited an Annual you know what a job I had. The first thing to do was to organize a Staff; this was done and a dummy was worked out; work distributed and actual construction was begun. Regular meetings were held; reports on progress were made. Some not reporting - reasons: inability to co-operate and non-dependence. New persons named for positions vacated until the present Staff evolved.

My mind brings me to the present. All pictures have been made and sent to the engraver.
