This fresco mural depicts the pioneering era of aviation which took place on Long Island between 1908 and 1927. It shows 500 life size portraits of pioneer airmen; 263 different types of airplanes which were designed, built and successfully flown on Long Island; and the hangars and other buildings which stood on Roosevelt Field. Maybe your portrait appears in this mural. Come look. Come see.

The other date to be remembered is Wednesday, December 28th, 1960, when the OX5 Club of New York, state Wing of the OX5 Club of America, will hold its Annual Meeting at 6:00 P.M., at the Horn & Hardart restaurant, Roosevelt Field Shopping Center, Mineola, Long Island, New York, for the purpose of electing officers for the year 1961.

Members not attending this Annual Meeting may appear by PROXY and any such members desiring so to appear should sign and return the enclosed proxy at once. It is suggested that the person named to represent you be a member in the Long Island area who is expected to attend.

There is plenty of parking space available. The following highways lead to Roosevelt Field: The Long Island Expressway; Grand Central Parkway; Northern State Parkway; Meadow Brook Parkway and Jericho Turnpike Highway 25.

The early return of this questionnaire will be appreciated.

Very sincerely,
