9/21 Yesterday - to Jones Beach with Peter, Myrtle, Violet & Kimi.

Jones Beach faces the Atlantic at Long Island. At 4:30 it was already quite dark, and as I stood alone on the sand I could see the beach stretch in one broad plain the length of the island. A crescent moon & a star hung low in the sky.

There was tall yellow grass along the way! & again I saw Manhattan in the night.

Today I went to see "How Green Was My Valley" - [[strikethrough]]& w [[/strikethrough]] Moving, & full of the passion for life.
