Yellowhead with large feet is expert gymnast. Alights near top of S. occidentalis which sways down. bird supports itself partly with wings and slides feet quickly down trying several new grips until finally it reaches a point where it can rest. This is done with great quickness At times instead of sliding down reaches quickly over and grasps second stem in one foot and then stands suspended between the two with feet 5 inches apart.
