Dr. Alex Wetmore,
1011 Forum Building,
Sacramento, California.

Dear Doctor Wetmore:
I find it necessary to call your attention to one or two omissions in submitting your reimbursement accounts. One is relative to meals secured at one point for an extended period. Paragraph 98-J of the Fiscal Regulations requires that subvoucher be secured in such instances where the period is a week or more, unless it is shown that the meals were paid for at the time obtained. We have assumed that meals obtained by you at Williams, Arizona, from July 7 to 16, inclusive, were paid for as obtained, and have supplied this information. You should make this statement, however, in all cases coming within this provision of the regulations.

Also, in connection with expenses for transfer of baggage, if the charge is for more than one piece it should be shown that extra piece contained Government property or personal property ^[[used]] in connection with official work.

Very truly yours,

Executive Assistant,
In Charge of Accounts.
