that time.  The accounting has been completed and filed with the court, and based on this, a segregation of the assets of the two gifts will be made before the fiscal year end.  Because of failure of the parties to agree on the income attributable to the Johnson gift, it is unknown how large this payment will be, but for the purpose of these projections, an amount of $1,200,000 is used for income from 1977 through September 30, 1980, and is being reflected as expended or accrued by year-end.  This will require a transfer of approximately $800,000 from endowment principal, constituting income reinvested in prior years.

-In September 1978, the Board of Regents authorized the establishment of the [[underlined]] Lindbergh Chair of Aerospace History Endowment [[/underlined]], for the purpose of appointing leading scholars to conduct research at the National Air and Space Museum.  The principal of this fund was to be generated from gifts and auxiliary activities of the Museum, with a goal of $900,000 set at that time.  To date, $350,000 has been transferred to this fund.  In conjunction with the Five-Year Prospectus, a thorough review of all NASM Trust Funds was conducted this spring and a financial plan of these activities was developed.  A major part of this plan, as outlined in the FY 1981 budget discussion, below, involves an increase in the NASM Theatre and Spacearium ticket prices, to support both NASM projects as well as other Institutional needs.  By ensuring future year support of NASM programs, this ticket price increase will free up for immediate transfer to the Lindbergh Endowment an existing fund of approximately $650,000 currently designated for general NASM purposes.
