[[underlined]] National Armed Forces Museum Advisory Board [[/underlined]]

As recommended by the Board of Regents, President Carter acted on June 6, 1980 to appoint Lieutenant General Andrew J. Goodpaster to the Smithsonian's National Armed Forces Museum Advisory Board, thereby filling the seat left vacant by the death of John Nicholas Brown.  Also as recommended by the Regents, Mr. Carter reappointed Professor Theodore Ropp to serve another term on the Advisory Board.
