If the weather grows more moderate we will return to our camp after resting a day or two. Tuesday 26. Mr. Macrae started this morning for Markova, to make arrangements for having provisions forwarded regularly.
Left me in charge of Station during his absence, with instructions to go down the river to Alexai Allen's Umbar and get 4 deer. I went down with Illia's dog team and brought up three being all the deam could haul. In the evening two more nartes arrived from Markova, with hard bread, beans, rice and some sugar.
Capt. Bush intends to start for Ghijiqha tomorrow. Still very cold. Wednesday 27. Mr. Macrae returned from Markova, and Crepart not having arrived before Capt. Bush started. Still very cold.
