[[underlined]]FY 1982 - Projection (Schedule C)[[/underlined]]

-- [[underlined]]Federal Appropriation[[/underlined]]: In action on the Institution's pay supplemental request, the House and Senate passed an appropriation of $2.7 million-- an increase of $400,000 above the Institution's request of $2.3 million and 59 percent of the total cost of the FY 1982 pay raises. This was vetoed by the President on August 28, but following the Congressional override of the veto, the full amount of this supple-mental is available to the Institution for obligation by the end of the fiscal year.

--[[underlined]]Nonappropriated Trust Funds[[/underlined]]: Schedule C displays revised projections for FY 1982, based on actual results through nine months, and may be compared to the original budget shown on Schedule B. A net gain of $47,000 is currently projected for Unrestricted General Trust Funds, compared to a break-even budget. This small variation, however, is the result of several significant offsetting changes, some of which were outlined at the May meeting.
