P. S. Should you be able to secure me a position, I deem it my duty to state that, I have been a cripple, from an accidental injury, ever since the year 1852, but walk any reasonable distance, with my Crutch and Cane. I was not in the Confederate Army, nor was I even liable to Conscript duty. Hon. N. Boyden, our representative in Congress, now in your city, would cheerfully answer any inquiry in regard to me. L.
