But as you know, I don't think we belong to the branch of the [[Lonele]] Fletchers at all- One thing I remember distinctly, [[underlined]] always hearing. [[/underlined]] Two brothers came over together-- one settled in Pepperville, & one in Westford Mass. - & the families were always distinguished as Westford, & Pepperville Fletchers.  We were Westford Fletchers - Mrs. Daniel Webster was a Pepperville Fletcher.

Now I did not see a familiar name in all the gathering of two or three years ago though I own a paper with a full account of the meeting - & all the names - Indeed if I am not mistaken neither Westford or Pepperville were mentioned --

I think they are another family entirely.  Certainly, such names as Professor Adams, & the Boston Appletons would not be forgotten, or omitted, & they were my father's first cousins - My father had three brothers - Daniel, James, and Elen - Two sisters - Lydia - (Mrs. Spencer)and [[Lubmit?]] Mrs. Perkins - Further I know not --

In looking over what I have written, I see I have omitted to say, my grandmother Fletcher's maiden name, was Ruth Adams -- I am sorry I can not give more, & more satisfactory information -- but it is really all I know.
