that you propose affording me the opportunity. I have been intensely busy every since my return from Boston in October and can know no respite until after commencement, March 17th. I should be very glad to have you attend our Commencement this year. Perhaps you can include it in your plans.

I have a dear friend in Cincinnati, Mrs De John Davis (perhaps you remember her) who for some reason is deeply interested in Mrs Carter-Merwin's topic at the last Congress, "Opportunities for Women's Work in the Southern States." She has written to me twice, desiring that I would secure a copy of the article for her perusal. Can you tell me whether it was published or not, whether I cd borrow the manuscript.
