There is a little toy whistle made of the wing-bone of an eagle. These things were picked up just as they had been in use. ($2.75 + 12 cts postage).

I have also a woman's dancing dress made of "Big-horn" or mt. Sheep, skins, with part of the fur left on for trimming. This cost $6.00, I can send it by mail for 64 cts if wrapped lightly. If you wish other things, let me know, I can get them probably -- mail is about the same as express not any more, I think, But some things could not well be sent by mail, If I send by express, all that you want should come at once,

The Mandan & Gros Ventres "medicine" dances begin with warm weather; "when the trees get green".  The Ree dances or ^the^ principal affair at least,takes place "when the corn & squashes get ripe." in the fall. There is a dance corresponding some what to the sun-dance here, but it is not held unless some one "gets it up", & we hope no one will,

We should be very glad indeed to have you visit us here, I expect to go east this summer, but not before June, probably.

You ask what you can do for me, Only one thing that I think of beside what you are doing for all of us, by your interest in the welfare of the Indians. That is, if you can call upon my sister, & Mrs Weston, if you can spare time, at 236 W. 44 st
