Miss Fletcher:

I went to Farleys yesterday and had a good talk with Joe and his men. They and all others object to selling any land east of the R.R. The 50000 acres would take about 6000 acres East of the [[Logan]] and take from them about half of the [[line?]] of RR. The [[line?]] for the 50000 would take all of Range Six. They want to sell all of that in range Six except the Triangle made by the line of Range Six on the East and the R R on the west and the Winnbago Reservation on the north. The bill now pending calls for [[strikethrough]] 50000 [[/strikethrough]] not more than 50,000 acres. If they would be permitted to say how much less than 50000 and when the [[Mimes?]] should be taken from it is all right.
