Dear Miss Fletcher,

Yours of the 11" is recd. I have just applied (sending my letter thru Capt Pratts hand) to the Indian Comr, Mr. Price, asking that you be authorized to select and bring with your Carlisle party ten Omaha Indians viz. 

Three young married couples, their girls and a boy: this cd of course be varied in a degree by circumstances - do the best you can. If this is allowed, you will get and then Capt. Pratt can from here also.
