Miss Alice C. Fletcher.
64 Pinckney St. Boston, Mass.

Madam:
By reference from the Hon. Secretary I am in receipt of your request of the 19th inst. to be allowed to place five Omaha boys in the Carlisle school. Lt Pratt has written this office of your intention to place five or six Omaha pupils in the Carlisle school, to be supported there by contributions from benevolent people in New England. Are these the boys referred to by you?

Yours respectfully
