We hear occasionally from Carlisle and Hampton. Those at Carlisle seem well pleased but the Hampton ones seem so homesick. Joseph writes very nice letters to his wife, he seems to have a great deal of solicitude for her. Will it be so that she can go to him when the baby is born? She often comes to the Mission.

I have not seen George Miller since I came back. I sent him word a few days ago to come, perhaps he will. I will read your letter to the Elders at the earliest opportunity.
