My dear Mrs. Young,

The enclosed letter tells of an Indian girl needing a friend. Therefore I send it to you.

Miss Fletcher last year brought several Indian boys and girls to Carlisle and Hampton. She has now been commissioned by government to go to the Omaha Indian Agency to allot lands to these Indians and, as you see from her letter, she starts today.
