To Miss Fletcher, Washington

Madam

I have already once written to you and come again to trouble you perhaps. But I know that your assistance would be a great help to me and so you may excuse my liberty to speak to you again.

In some time the place of second teacher at the Omaha school will be vacant and I should be very happy to get it. I have been over twelve years governess in Paris and I think I could also do teaching of the Omaha Children.
