My dear friend,

I was thought of you today and was writing to you a few lines. We are all well. and hope you are the same. I was hearing you at home in washington. and I was very glad to hear. Mrs. Kinney She sent to me a barrel of things. and I am thank her ever so much. She sent to me a $2 and I buy [[strikethrough]] s [[/strikethrough]] a rocking chair. and arm rocken chair. Noah and Lucy they went after load of wood 3 wagons. they went on monday and came home on Wednesday evening. Mrs. Kinney mother She sent to me some flowers seeds and I want a nice flower bed near my door. I write
