Rosalie was ill - Susan took the receipt into the sick room, & made out the receipt - & the spelling difference [[insert]] of the two names [[/insert]]: that is to say, the name should have been [[Mewadame?]] in both cases - & why Susan (for the receipt - stands in her writing -) should have blundered so as to the names, is a mystery even to S. and Rosalie. I did not know but you could give a clue to this mystery, but if not, I must accept their theory
