Miss Ab Fletcher

Dear Madam
I write you this note to inform you that I and all my family are still well.
I am about 175 miles from home today. I and brother S. [[Roberts]] killed about 25 deer already, two elks, and two black bears, and have enough fish. We are getting along well and have good success.
I will try and get back about 20th Oct if possible.
Hope you and your friends are well, and getting along with your work nicely.
