the same things he played 15 years ago.  Is not growing & has outlived his ambition.  But he is likely to take charge of a permanent orchestra in Chicago- to conduct the World's Fair music in 1893.  With Gleason as leading critic (on The Tribune), I don't much like the outlook for Chicago music in general nor for our project in particular.
