JOHN C. FILLMORE, DIRECTOR.

MILWAUKEE, WIS., ^[[March 24]] 189^[[1]].

Dear Miss Fletcher:

Your enclosing new songs rec'd. As for the missing songs, I fear I must have mislaid them myself. I was certainly under the impression that you returned them [[underlined]]all[[/underlined]]; but not finding them, I concluded I must be mistaken. They will probably turn up after a while. Don't disturb yourself; nobody here would desire to steal them & I shall no doubt find them in some unexpected cranny. The songs I have returned to you are all copied into my book, as harmonized; so you have no further trouble to take with them. I return you also those you have just sent. I have copied them and will harmonize them as soon as I can & send them to you in that shape. No graphophone yet; But it will come, after a while.

Yours very truly
J. C. Fillmore
