My dear Miss Fletcher:

I am happy to say that I have all the songs copied and I herewith enclose them. Do what you please with them: publish them or use them to light an Indian pipe! "at your [[underlined]]agreeation[[/underlined]]", as our French teacher used to say. Thank Heaven! they are off my hands! I have been so loaded down & so worried when I thought they were lost. That the relief is immense to find them & get them copied. There are now about 25 songs which the Indians have approved, as harmonized & [[?]] them then hardest ones. So I shall know what I am about with my Harvard report. I think I must make it all new, anyhow. I only want my U.S. for a few [[?]], so as not to dig them up again.

A Happy Easter to you.
Cordially yours
J. C. Fillmore
