And I do not like to ask him again, and know of no other person in W. to whom I could write for it - or I would not trouble Miss Fletcher - she having so many other cares. But if she only could have it sent me soon I would be [[underline]] so grateful. I want it so much [[/underline]]. When she writes me - would she please tell me the names of the U.S. Ind. Agents at Lemhi & Ft. Hall Agencies (Shoshone) if she knows them -
[[Underline]] Forgive [[/underline]] me - dear friend for troubling you when you are already so burdened.
My sister, I knew wrote to you of events in Nez Perce land - in your absence. And she will (D.V) tell you them, more fully when you come. If it is is snowing and raining on the Reserve as here today - the Rev. Allen will not have a pleasant ride from Lapwai to Kamiah to organize that 2d church at Kamiah tomorrow and it is a busy day with the "Clique" there - with their "Counsils" & "wire pulling" to work as much as possible of their schemes through him. You may know [[underline]] how much [[/underline]] of Miss McB - is in Mt. Idaho today - I wish the dear friend who has done so much for us was beside me where I could look into her face and tell and listen to the story of the [[months??]] - But I am hoping to see and talk to her face to face this summer - if God please - Once [[strikeout]] at [[/strikeout]] least; [[underline]] every day [[/underline]] since she left. She has heard her name go up from this little home among the mountains. May she make plain paths for her and guide. I bless her always prays
Sincerely yours
S.L. McBeth
