visit include at least one Sunday, because that is my free day.  I want to see you and talk all this matter over with you and I want you to know my wife and daughter.  My sons will not be at home.  Tom, who assisted me last year, is going to Muskegon, Mich., to set up for himself.  There seems to be an extraordinarily good opening for him + we have friends there.

John has gone to Nebraska, to spend the fall with Mr. Farley.  He tried office work in Chicago and it brought on a return of a stomach trouble which nearly killed him a few years ago.  It was Francis who suggested Nebraska and John caught at the idea; so Francis wrote to Mr. Farley with the result that John left two days ago to try how a tenderfoot can get along ranching.  I hope the Farleys will like him, but one can never tell in advance.
