arrangement without your consent.  If I have to buy a machine, it will cost me $200.  Re-charging of battery costs $1; cylinders 12 1/2 ct each, etc.  I expect to pay in lessons for my present use of the phonograph & also for the instruction I have recd. 
I think a part of the trouble with the Zuni music is an unskilled and unintelligent use of the phonograph.  I believe I can get accurate scientific results.  By the way, Prof. Putnam has never sent me the Zuni Report he promised.
Can I ever visit you at your own house?  God only knows, we shall see what the future has in store for us.  Until the last of June, I shall be tied up here, like a bear to a stake!  If I could only hope that the grind would stop there, [[underlined]] forever [[/underlined//]]
