Height of bed about the same as a "cot bed" & as wide or wide enough for two, although sometimes width of bed extended from slabs to post. Person making bed made the width to suit themselves. Bed posts were as thick as a good sized wrist. side pieces were placed in crotched bed posts, end pieces laid acoss sides, pieces resting against bed post to which they were secure by tied by twisting back around post & which kept end piece from rolling off.
