wabbling. one end, rounded part rested in crotched post, sliced end uppermost, other end resting on next stringer, sliced end facing downward on stringer resting on next crotched post. Susie has this down in paper which we tried to put before you as plain as possible. Took it all down but wish I had time to copy. We hope this will help you out, still Susie was very careful about what is written; we would see that we both understood it the same before she took down. Mother says only one side of end was sliced off stringer, both ends were sliced off, sliced ends or parts coming together & resting tight in crothed post was solid, no wabbling.

You will understand, taking it down this way is not to prevent your asking more questions, ask all you want to.
