My Friend, your letter received but did not answer sooner for I have had sickness in my family. My children had the measles and my wife sick with the neuralgia in the head. The children were very sick. Our old man lost the grand daughter he worried so much about [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] ^[[ while]] we were in Washington. He feels badly. He will have his Buffalo Dance when mourning feast has been given. I read
