Miss Alice C. Fletcher

Dear Friend your letter just reached me and I have at once answered the questions. I let Mr. Shappard read you letter and was much pleased and he said he hoped you would visit Pawnee again. As to census everything went off alright. I had Mr. Webbs' clerk in charge at this Agency, roll so I knew their ages with out asking them. Old man was in and is anxious about hearing of you.

The Rail Road is here. I [[strikethrough]]road [[/strikethrough]] rode on the passenger when I went to Oklahoma City with Eagle Chief and his band. We had the honor to meet Gov Roosevelt, and ate dinner with him at the Rough Riders camp. I hope I answered the questions satisfactory Your Friend
