My dear Miss Fletcher -

Many thanks for sending the melodies. - the first has great possibilities - and I have not yet had time to study into the others. My conception of the idea of the Deathless Voice is growing more and more vivid. - and it will not be long before I begin putting down the notes. I am hard at work finishing the score of a large orchestral composition begun several years ago. - My conscience will not be clean until I have rid it of this work.

I enclose a couple of circulars regarding my Boston Lecture. - You might be glad to send one to the Manchester (?)
