They will have to return to Carlisle at present, and ^[[if]] the outing system, as it is called, is adopted again for these girls it will be with the consent and approval of Col Pratt. Miss Fletcher feels with me that it is the safest and happiest solution of the question at present. The moral responsibility is very great. Will write fully. Advise me what disposition Mrs. E. shall make of funds now in her hands.

The above is copy of telegram I sent to Mrs. Hearst concerning P.R. girls. I believe it covers the question, and I will write her more at length. I have an engagement for Tuesday evening, but will come Wed. or Thurs. if it will be convenient.
