My Friend, I am home and again at my desk. Dorsey is here. I am afraid he has brought the Buf-Blades- Yesterday upon my arrival I was told that he ^[[Dorsey]] had gone down to [[Howells'?]] - I have not seen him to talk with him - I am afraid that the work with Francis will not work. I was in hopes you folks would leave the whole thing with me. Dorsey intended to leave me in the field and furnish me material to write - team to drive and when he got ready to go to Chicago, Anyway as we made arrangements I want to ask one thing more. If Francis comes on we shall need a team and you know how high the price is to drive a livery team. Could not McKee arrange so we could buy a team? We can get a good team for about $40.00 and at the end of the month sell them again and money paid back to McKee. As to the North Star ceremony I have not seen anybody about it but will soon
