October 19, 1903.

Dear Miss Fletcher:

Mr. Hodge informs me that you recently renewed your kind offer to help us further with the "Dictionary of Indian Tribes." If you would like to arrange the material pertaining to the Caddoan stock, supplying such data as you can from personal knowledge and the remainder as far as possible from the little that has been written on the subject, I shall be gratified.

In order that you may look over the material on hand as well as confer on the question of compensation, I shall be glad if you will call the Bureau some afternoon soon.

Very truly yours,
