The Opening Ceremony,

The two judges rise in their places, the north side Judge holds his four Tally rods in his right hand,and the south side judge holds his Tally rods in his left hand ^then [[strikethrough]] as [[/strikethrough]] are to [[strikethrough]] advance, [[/strikethrough]] walking abreast ^[[advance]] to the standard, wehre they face the north, love forward [[strikethrough]] advance [[/strikethrough]] a few steps, pause and each judge holds up his Tall rods to the north while all the players on both sides sing the th following song.  ^[[music]]  ^[[osage.]]

Hail O North! They wind send
To blow care away
To bring joy today;
Make Eyes keen,
Make hands swift to play.

At the close of the stanza the two Bridges lower their Tally mods, turn and walk toward the east, pause, elevate their Tally rods and the players
