an interest in my own writings. I have mailed you a small library, - an extra copy of "The Odes" for I do not believe that the publishers have any more on hand, while I have several to spare, - for the friend you spoke of; a copy of "Poetry & the Individual" and also a copy of a book of verse I once rashly printed. I thought that "The Only [[Bad?]] Indian" - which once appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, - "To a Child's [[Moccasin?]]", & possibly one or two others in the book might interest you, - though there is much in it that I should not now print.

We expect to spend a part of the summer - later July and August - near Boston, - along the north shore if I can find the right place. Should you be in New England we shall hope to see you.

Cordially yours,
H B Alexander
