Miss Alice C. Fletcher,
214 First Street, S.E.
Washington, D.C.

Dear Miss Fletcher:-

We are very glad to receive your note regarding our Society meeting. We enjoyed the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Blackbird at our annual banquet.

You will be interested in knowing that I used the 2 [[strikethrough]] 5 [[/strikethrough]] ^[[7]]th volume of Ethnological reports very liberally in my classes in Nebraska history.

You and Mr. LaFlesche have erected a monument to yourselves therein which will last as long as Nebraska lasts.

Very sincerely
[[signed]] A E Sheldon [[/signed]]
Secretary.
