If a hundred dollars or more could be sent to this church and school it would give help & add greatly to the efficiency of the work that is being so manfully carried forward in behalf of education and enlightenment. The gift will be all the more acceptable because it will be a surprize, and the sympathy it will manifest will cheer the hearts of those who labor in season and out of season for [[strikethrough]] those who know not [[/strikethrough]] the poor and needy.

Sitting in this church, listening to the Indians singing in the sonorous Dakotah, "Nearer, my God, to Thee," one seems to hear "the many", who sing as they "come from the East, and the West, from the North, and the South to sit down in the Kingdom of God."
