I shall never hear its like again.

Moscow was interesting, and my three days sail on the Volga, & my visit in the house of a noble man, by nature as well as rank in the Eastern part of Russia only 24 miles from the Liberian border - I was over 9 or miles East of Constantinople - from the time I left America I was a third around the globe.!

Of my visit to Tolstoy I will tell you some other time for it was an experience well worth having.  I was much cordially received.  Tolstoy was [[?xceply]] interested in my researches.  I shall send him some of my paper when I reach home.  So far I have not been able write a letter of acknowledgement o any of the people who have been gracious to me - for until this afternoon I've not had much when I could sit down.  We go, & there is so much to see.  When I get to Geneva tomorrow I
