Says, "We want to become citizen & have land, like White men, have courts to appeal to, and good title to the land. This is why he wants to become like White people.
 
Always wished it from the first time he thought over it. As if they had not strengh they have no horses only ponies it is all they can do to move on a little - In breaking land ponies are not strong enough to do what horses would - It seems as tho, the Indian has been left out in the winter.
