In reply to your letter of the 14th instant, asking to be advised whether the Omaha Indians will be permitted to take their allotments "in any shape," and whether section lines may be crossed in making an allotment, I have to say that it is very desirable that the 40 acre tracts in each allotment should be contiguous to each other if making them so
