Having no personal knowledge that Mrs. Peters had broken land upon the reservation or of the amount of her [[?ting]], I requested that the breaking claimed to have been done by Mrs. Peters on her order, should be reinstated.  I herewith submit a copy of the report furnished me by Dr. E.[[?J.]] [[?Dobell]] of Omaha Agency.

In compliance with the instructions contained in your letter of Feb. 6, 1884, the case of Mrs. Euphrasia Peters was again laid before an open council of he tribe on March [[?16]], 1884.  At the time the affidavit of Euphrasia Peters was translated to the counsel and also that portion of your letter of Feb. 6, 1884, saying that [[?decision]] is that the [[?]] matter be laid before the tribe for final determination.
