I am in receipt of your letter #[[?1376]] dated February 26, 1884, referring to me a letter addressed to the Hon. Commissioner by one Mrs. [[?Athemesia]] F. [[?S.]] Frost who claims to be an Omaha mixed blood, asking to be advised as to whether her and her children's claims on the Omaha Reservation is still good, and for examination and such investigation of the case as I may be able to make.

In reply I have to say that in compliance with the above instructions I gathered what evidence I could pertaining to the case of Mrs. A.F.[[?S.]] Frost from both the Omahas and Mr. Frost, the latter representing Mrs. Frost, she being unable to be present at the investigation
