kind has been kept of the council's [[?po]] in Mr. Frost's affidavit wherein he says "the chiefs, then and there instructed Agent [[?Gillingham]] that my wife and all of her children be placed on the roll as members of the Omaha Tribe of Indians, with all the rights and all the privileges belonging to members of the tribe.  That I should select the claim for my wife and children out of any land that was not taken and as neither as U. S. Subjects Mr.
Saunsen ^and the old chiefs and soldier [[?]] substantiate the above statements.  I could obtain no official or others nor Since to prove Mr. Frost's assertion.

In view of the evidence I would respectfully request that nmy decision that Mr Frost is not entitled to an allotment of land under the act of August 7, 1852 be approved.
